Today I got myself a new CPU, the old one being outdated and I am very happy with it . The friend from which I bought it told me the thermo-conductive paste applied on the CPU and cooler should be replaced once in 6 months, that’s the recommendation.

How the heck should John Doe from a small village know that AND get the paste?

My old CPU had only one layer of that paste in all it’s existence and never complained!
